  • SJCBC Lunch Cruise to Green Flash meet at the power lines at 10AM

    Mark your calendars. Lunch Cruise to the Green Flash on Wed Nov 19. May change if the weather looks bad for that day. This is a nice boat trip to a wonderful restaurant with the ability to walk to other Captiva attractions , Ice cream parlor! They are expecting us at 11AM, so go directly if you wish or meet at the power lines at 10AM, but let me know either way. For those of you new to our lunch cruises, if you tell me you are coming, be there unless you are too ill to get out of bed and then let me know. I will be committing for the club and want the count to be accurate. Please let me know if you prefer to eat outside or in so I can let them know.   • SJCBC Road Cleanup Meet at Froggies by 9:00

    HELP!!!!! I could really use some help on Friday. At Froggys at 9am. Either up to the Post office or if more people show from the Post Office to the campground.It will only take an hour or 2 tops and I have everything you need. You can't let poor little old me do this by myself. Mike Mendelson

  • SJC Boat Parade Join Us for a Magical Christmas Boat Parade!

    Celebrate the season with a dazzling display of holiday spirit on the water! Decorated boats, sparkling lights, and festive fun for all ages.Bring your friends and family for an unforgettable evening of cheer If you'd like to participate in the Boat Parade, see Paul Michelson for details on decorating boats and the boat route. The St. James City Annual Christmas Boat Parade for 2025 is set for Saturday, December 13th, at 6 p.m., featuring decorated boats lighting up the canals, starting at Henley Canal, through Cherry Canal, and ending at Monroe Canal, with great viewing from shorelines and spots like Low Key Tiki; it's a free, community event. Event Details:Date: Saturday, December 13, 2025. Time: 6:00 PM. Location: St. James City, starting at Henley Canal, moving to Cherry Canal, and finishing at Monroe Canal.  

  • SJCBC Lunch Cruise to Lighthouse Restaurant

    December 17 lunch cruise to the Lighthouse - please share boats if you can as docking is limited. Lunch Cruise to the Lighthouse Rest on Wed Dec 17. This is a great restaurant on the water and I am sure they will be decorated for Christmas. Join us and if you need a ride we have a boat available. If you do not know how to get there we can meet at R12 at 10:15, let me know.
