Details: Hold the date: Wed Feb 12 for a Rain or Shine Lunch Cruise: On Wed Feb 12 we will have our Valentine Lunch Cruise at Monarcos Mexican Restaurant at 11am; This is a special Lunch. They have 2 for 1 drinks, huge portions. great food and a very good price. For those boating go directly there or let me know and we can meet at R12 at 10AM.   • Calusa Island cleanup: Carmen’s Kayaks (239-333-7332 and CarmansKayaks.com) will provide kayaks for participants who need them. Starting point is Knight’s Landing, 16499 Porto Bello St, Bokeelia.

    Judy Burt shared information about a 2/15 Calusa Island cleanup from 9am to noon. The cleanup includes Calusa island, surrounding mangroves and water including Jug Creek and the Calusa Blueway. Carmen’s Kayaks (239-333-7332 and CarmansKayaks.com) will provide kayaks for participants who need them. Starting point is Kinght’s Landing, 16499 Porto Bello St, Bokeelia.

  • SJCBC Commodore’s Ball Mardi Gras theme at the Cope’s 3825 Emerald Ave

    The Commodore's Ball will be held March 7 at Tucker & Linda Cope's home.  3825 Emerald Ave, St James City Starting at 6:00. There will be no boat club meeting, just the party starting at 6:00 The theme is Mardi Gras. Dinner will be Gumbo & Rice, Black Beans, Chicken and King Cake. Members are requested to bring an appetizer or side dish to share, and your chairs. Things to NOTE: There will be no boat club meeting, just the party starting at 6:00 ALSO you may bring an appetizer or side dish, but PLEASE, NO DESSERTS! There is no charge for this meeting. Linda would appreciate help decorating and setting up. She really tries to make this a special event so let’s pitch in. Our hosts would appreciate help with setting up and serving and could use a few more tables.
