  • SJCBC Mtg May 6th 2024 at the Nelson’s – Seis de Mayo!

    In honor of Cinco do Mayo, we will be celebrating Seis de Mayo for the May 6th Boat Club meeting Entree will be a taco bar with pork carnitas, beef tacos and all the toppings.   • Service to remember Marty Renkes

    Pine Island Community Church

    I'm sad to have to share that our fellow SJC Boat Club member, Marty Renkes passed on May 16 after a long battle with cancer. Marty was such a joy to be around.  She was happy when everyone else was happy!  She genuinely enjoyed everyone's company and she let you know it. She always made you feel welcome. Marty was so excited to host our first boat club meeting at the St. James  Civic center in March. Her kind spirit and happy heart will be missed. A service to remember Marty will be held Monday May 20 at the Pine Island Community Church. Visitation will be from 10- 11am followed by a service from 11am - noon and then a luncheon at 12:15. Phil invited all boat club members to attend. Please keep Phil and all of Marty's family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.

  • SJC Boat Club Sept Mtg – Julie & Lew Buchanan’s

    Mark your calendars for a Monday Sept 9 meeting! Details follow: Julie and Lew Buchanan hosting 2726 Mangrove St (2nd road on the right down 8th St). Plenty of parking along the road. Monday Sept 9 at 4:30pm Italian lasagna and baked ziti will be served. YUM!!! Beer, wine, soda and water will be provided. Bring an appetite, a dish to share and your chair.
