SJC Boat Club Kite Flying event planned for April at the Pink Shell Marina on Fort Myers Beach. Clubbers - please RSVP so plans can be finalized and enough dock space is reserved. The Kite Flying event will take place on the beach area just north of the resort from 10:30 AM until noon on Thursday the 11th. Lunch will be served (Menu TBD) at the Marina at 12:30. Sides will be needed and judges for awards will be needed.  Award ceremony following lunch. Balance of day & evening is at boater's discretion. Free tram service (open bus) runs continuously to Times Square and has a stop directly in front of Pink Shell. An enclosed bus runs further south and has a $.75 PP charge and also has a Pink Shell and Time's Square stop. Denny & Karen Bunce

Kayak excursion next week, Mon Nov 18. Enjoy an afternoon on the water in a kayak. Planning to depart from Jim Souers dock on Teal court at 10:00. Boater Safety Course Jan 22 8:00 am - 5:00am St. James City Civic Center Boating enthusiasts seeking to expand their avareness of sound boating safety practices and obtaining the Florida Boating Safety Education I.D. Card are encouraged to enroll in the upcoming Boat America, one-day course being offered by Flotilla gr of the USCG Auxiliary and the St. lames City Civic Association.
