SJCBC Meeting

Our January meeting will be held on January 12 at 4:30 at the Civic Center. Our hosts Gary Kirchoff, Roberta Erickson and Graham Pryce will be providing a main course of pulled pork and cole slaw. Please bring an appetizer, side dish or dessert to share. The club will NOT be providing beverages, so please bring your own. Due to the cost of the Civic Center we will be charging $10 per person to cover expenses. Please RSVP to Gary at garykirchoff773@gmail.com or call him at 773-297-8757. This is a special meeting as we will be installing our new commodore and vice commodore Kim and Paul Michelsen, as well as welcoming new members. Please make them all feel welcome. Looking forward to a year filled with new energy, fresh ideas and fun times on the water.

The February 9th meeting will be hosted by Ben Madey and Joe Connolly at the SJC Civic Center. It will by BYOB and $10 collected at the door They will be preparing Italian Beef Sandwiches so compliementary sides or a dessert to share would be greatly appreciated! Monday, April 13 Monthly Meeting at the Civic Center!! Del Mergen & Jan Sanlor have once again volunteered and agreed to host the April meeting. They are preparing Pork Chops in gravy along with mashed potatoes. Paul and his crew of men will be on hand for table & chair setup at 3:00. This will be a BYOB event with a $10 fee at the door.

SJCBC May meeting will be held on  Monday, May 11  hosted by Kurt & Janet Giesselman at their home at 2234 Banana St, SJC beginning at 4:30 pm. RSVP to kurtgiesselman@gmail.com They will be serving: Chicken & shredded pork street tacos Mexican street corn Corn bread Salad It’s going to be a delicious meal!! Please bring a complementary side or dessert with a chair & $10 at the door.

SJCBC June 8 meeting will be held at Commodore Kim & Paul Michelsen’s home starting at 4:30 4460 Lake Heather Circle, SJC Kim will be ordering Publix subs since her chef is on his way to Alaska! Please Bring chairs, what you want to drink, an appetizer, dessert or salad to go with Subs and $10per person, RSVP to Commodore Kim at kmichelsen22@gmail.com

Hello to all our fellow boaters! The August meeting will be held at Mickey & Jodi Brelsford's home on Monday the 10th at 4:30pm.   Our helpers will be Sandy Baker and Mike & Ginny Smith. Grilled smoked sausage, kielbasa and some turkey sausages (for non pork diets) will be served. Please bring your favorite delicious side dishes and desserts to complement the meal. BYOB, only sodas and water will be provided and the standard $10pp donations will be collected and don’t forget your chairs. Address: 3206 York Road Parking in the driveway, empty lot on north side and across the street along York. Golf carts may park between the driveway and house on grass area.
